While visiting a veterans' hospital with my son, I overheard a retired army sergeant asking people which branch of the military they'd served in. Some said Army, a few Navy, othes Air Force. "What were you in?" She asked a man who'd just entered the room.
Confused, he mumbled, " The bathroom."
Susan LopshireAn Annual Survey among my fellow junior officers indicated that lack of communication from our superiors was a big problem. The commanding officer, however, refusd to believe the results.
"If communication is realy so bad," he demanded of his department heads, "why am I only hearing about it now?"
